I can't speak about the airport as a whole, but if you are flying American, they are located in Terminal 2B. It was surprising to me how very few food options there are in comparison to, say, Dallas, where there are restaurants nearly every step of the way. Once you have cleared security, I think that Pret A Manger is about all there is in Terminal 2B. I was also surprised that the "duty free" stuff is often higher than retail costs in America, or at least it was for Samsung phones. Finally, if you are taking a train from the station at CDG, be prepared for madness. There are NO guichets, only machines, so if you have questions, good luck finding answers.

This airport is so spread out and it's hard to navigate in there. That's one of the reasons why CDG Airport is one of the world's worst airports.

This airport is not worst than any other major hub, and probably better than many others airports in the world. I've often used CDG, and i've never experienced any problem here. Overall good facilities, nice shopping sections, if you take the time to wander, etc...The only problem are all these biased and dumb comments, mostly coming from bitter and jealous Anglo US jerks. JFK is a disgrace for instance, compared to CDG.

​ALAIN PROVISTE , New York City have 3 airports which are EWR, LGA and JFK. Both LGA and JFK are in Queens while EWR is in Newark and Elizabeth, NJ as the 1st airport serving NYC. EWR and JFK are world class airports while LGA is regional. Paris have 2 airports which are ORY and CDG. ORY is in the southern suburbs of Paris while CDG is in the northeast, well near Roissy-en-France.

@@CrystalClearWith8BE I perfectly know that JFK is not the only airport in NYC. And there is also a 3rd airport in Paris, with 3 long runways. Le Bourget (LBG), which is an important hub for the business aviation.

@@alainproviste3523, what I see is that ORY and CDG are both commercial airports while LBG isn't because it's only for general aviation. Back in the old days, LBG used to be a commercial airport until before the end of the Cold War.

We will be going to Paris on 24th and this the airport we will arrive at. My friend is in a wheelchair. I am hoping we can go on a tain from there to Rue Doudeauville, Paris, Île-de-France 75018. Any input would be appreciated. Are the trains ok with wheelchair users?
