Today's puzzle is a nostalgic one for me. I've actually put this exact puzzle together before with my husband back when we were still dating. We used to grab cheaper puzzles from Target/Thrift Stores to put together on date nights and we usually would gravitate towards puzzles that featured the art of Harry Wysocki aka Heronim. We actually have quite several Harry Wysocki-themed puzzles in our closet from doing them over the years. He wouldn't necessarily be my go-to choice of artist these days but I have a tender place in my heart for puzzles featuring his artwork.
The Mega Puzzles brand is not high-end by any means but the puzzle itself was still fun to put together. The main downside for me is the glossy finish really picked up the glare from my floor lamp so it was a little hard to see the top portion of the puzzle. Given that this was my second time putting this puzzle together, I was pleased to see that the board stayed intact and there was no splitting or peeling. The artwork had a great blend of small details and large objects so I never really found myself getting held up in any particular area for too long. I was a little nervous as my husband usually tackles the more intricate, spicier sections, like those cobblestones. I was doing this puzzle by myself this time and was pleasantly surprised that nothing ended up being too challenging.
