I am new to your channel and was wondering: are there 2 of you doing the puzzle or do you just move around the table? If there are 2 how does the person at the top get to pieces of the person at the bottom or does the top person have their own stash of pieces?? I am curious about this as if you are a duo you work well together. I always solo but have a friend that wants to do a puzzle together and watching this makes me think that may not be as impossible as I think...

Most of the time it's just me on the videos but my husband will join me occasionally. That Liberty Puzzle was the first one where he joined me for the entire thing. Normally he just cameos.😂 He likes to puzzle too so it's always tempting him when he's on a break at work (he works from home). I have a big desk that is not pushed against a wall so he'll sit on one side and I sit on the other. If he's not there, I take the opportunity to switch sides to work on the top more easily. I really love doing puzzles with him as it's one of the things we bonded over when we first started dating. I'd try it out with your friend. I love the companionship of having someone with me when I'm doing it. Maybe start out with a small one in case you find you don't like puzzling with someone?

Have only done small 100 piece wooden puzzles and they were very pricey. I did not like that the pieces don't really click together but rather just slide together, at least mine did. So I never did a bigger one as did not think the cost was justified since they were not that enjoyable. I did enjoy watching someone do a larger one, so thank you for the entertainment!
@FindEveryLittlePiece17 күн бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! Totally agree on the price, it's a big investment and you need to enjoy it to make it worth it. I actually didn't mind that the pieces slide together but I do wish they had that satisfying click. Thanks for commenting!

I really love the unique pieces. Hard to figure out were to start with all the pieces being a one of a kind cut. At least when a piece goes in you know you have the right piece. ENjoyed.

Yes! I agree. It took me a moment to get my eye in on the different piece style but after a bit it started to come together more easily. Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰🧩💚

Hi! It's been a while since I did this one and I don't usually time myself but I think it was around 2-2.5 hours by myself if I'm just casually puzzling.

I have a dozen or more of the Hometown Collection and this is the first time ever that I saw puzzle channel do one! Was interesting to see your sort pattern as looks similar to what I would have done. Thanks for entertaining me, now going to go do a puzzle of my own!

How long you took to solve the puzzle? Currently I'm doing 1000 pieces, but, seems to be dragging for weeks. Perhaps, you could upload videos on tips and hacks 😅
@FindEveryLittlePieceАй бұрын
Hi! Great idea on a tips/tricks video! I'm not quite ready to do that but my main tips to you would be that if you haven't already, sort all the pieces by features and colors. It really makes it easier to work on each element because you have what you need right in front of you and if you need a break you can easily switch to a different section which is already sorted. For this puzzle that was mostly things like matching textures (red cross hatch areas, tentacles that have red tips, tentacles that have black and white tips, the blue center pieces, etc. If your puzzle is very busy sometimes it's not possible to sort the whole thing but when that happens I try to sort as much as I can by color. When I've worked through and connected as much as I can after sorting, I like to then gather all the pieces together and sort by shape. You can usually work out approximately which piece shape and it makes it easier to glance through those shapes for one that matches. I like to also keep an eye out for directional art elements. So basically, art elements that are always pointing in a specific direction. For this puzzle, the blue center had horizontal stripes through it and so when I sorted that section I put them on my tray and lines them up so all the lines were facing the same way. The tray helps because I can easily turn it upside down to view the pieces in a different angle. If your puzzle is art based, sometimes you can see the texture of the canvas they painted on. For photography, shadows and glares from lighting! Hope that helps and good luck with your puzzle!

Thank you! It was actually not bad at all! I did panic when I first poured the pieces out as it was a LOT of pink but there was enough variation in the end!

Most of the pieces are just two ins and two outs? Good thing there are no large sections of the same color.
@FindEveryLittlePiece2 ай бұрын
Yes! That's really the main reason that I found it so hard. If it was a random cut or just had more variation on how many ins/outs there were then it would have been much easier. Absolutely agree that I'm glad there were no really large solid sections.

Beautiful puzzle! Thanks for sharing this! Does A&F pass the "pick up test"? Or is it crumbly when you move it?

Thank you! Yes, A&F pieces have a tighter fit and can withstand the puzzle lift challenge!
