So let me get this straight: he is considered so dangerous that the interview has to be conducted behind reinforced glass and yet this individual COULD be released in less then 10 years?
@Death-999
@Death-999 2 жыл бұрын
10 years? hahaha, try 5 years. Eligible for parole in 2027. But let's be honest, ain't no way he's getting out. The law needs to take off the kid gloves for child murderers, a child at 13 knows what death is (they know about this much, much earlier, 4 or less and they understand death) they also understand empathy at this age. Which means they understand everything necessary to receive an "adults" punishment for murder. I've seen a lot of child murderers and I can't think off the top of my head a single one that became normal. For a child to murder they are beyond messed up, so far it's beyond repair.

Something that absolutely needs to be said is he sexually assaulted his sister while he was murdering her. He didn't do this as some sort of act of revenge for being ignored by his mother, he did this because he is a sadist and a killer. HE CANNOT GET OUT OR HE WILL DO IT AGAIN.

I also wanted to add this. After watching this series of the interview tapes and 'the family I had', it has not been mentioned. It shoukd be mentioned. He was not a jealous brother who wanted Mummy all to himself. His issues go waaayyy beyond that into sexual depravity. He viewed extreme material online and murdered his sister to satisfy his own twisted needs. I don't believe for a second this narrative that he's created around punishing his Mum.

I really fear for his mom and his brother Phoenix when he gets out of jail. His mother has stated she doesn’t want him to ever get released cause she’s terrified but him being charged as a minor at the time he killed his sister nothing she could do about it. She has stated in interviews he’s not allowed to live with her when he’s released and she’ll only see him in public secure settings. I really just hope she instead hides from him.

It runs in the family. Charity’s mother hired a hitman to kill her father. And she talks openly about it since she was acquitted. She has been around psychopaths all of her life. It’s hard to imagine being raised by one and then having one as a son. She’s trying to right the wrongs that happened to her as a child in him. I know she knows she can’t save him but I’m sure the little Charity in her identifies with a lot of what Paris “feels” even though her hurt came from trauma and his is biological

I cant believe that his mother mentioned Phoenix to him. Whilst I cant imagine what it's like being in her situation, I would cruely have to say this: "You are not responsible for the death of your daughter. You had no idea Paris was capable of murder. However, knowing what you do now, and putting your son in a high risk scenario is foolish on your part. You know he will come after you. You know that he remainds unsuccessful in his venture to ruin your life. Hurting Phoenix is like his personal drug and aim when he is released. Nothing can take away a mothers love, but you must protect your children through any means possible."

I've read in another interview that the mother is a former heroin addict. She was clean for 12 years, but she slipped into her old ways with cocaine when Paris was 12 and Ella was 3. Do the math. The mother was probably using while being pregnant of Paris. That could have played a major role in the development of his personality disorders. Also, her addiction probably had a big impact on the whole parenting process. Don't only point the finger of accusation at Paris.

I would expect that this interview, along with the professional behind the scenes comments by the Dr Jordan and Mark Saphric, would significantly go against Bennett's parole board hearing in 2027. Looking at this interview as someone who does not have any knowledge of psycopaths I wouldn't release him until his complete sentence is complete in 2047, even then I would apply significant restrictions to his movements.

Doesn’t mention this in this documentary but Charity also has psychopathy traits. It’s mentioned in the “Family I had” documentary. Perhaps why she kept contact and allowed Paris to talk to Phoenix was it allowed her to manipulate and take control of the situation by dangling her attention as a carrot to Paris. She was also a drug addict which also wasn’t mentioned but may explain some of the anger and loneliness Paris talked about.

Saying that he thinks he’s more intelligent than Piers Morgan is a bit of a given. Most people can safely assume themselves as that. Why any serious interview is given to Piers Morgan is beyond me. His interviewing skills are so basic and often simply puerile.

Dr. Jordon: I find it quite disturbing, your glee when criticising Paris. Its borderline ridicule. It seems like you are waiting for any moment or sign to vindicate your profession, rather than make observations with scientific detachment. To ridicule someone, anyone, is neither nice, nor professional. With respect to emotion, I see no mention of the fact Paris is in prison, has been there for years, from a young age, and prison 101 is to show no emotion. ANY emotion is a sign of weakness, or provocation, and results in nothing good happening to that person. I'm not saying Paris, psychopath or not, is a psychopath because he's dialled down his emotions, but certainly that seems to what most of the characters in this documentary are doing. What we are seeing is a product of BOTH Paris AND his life in prison. I don't think the final conclusions here are fully explored. If you take Paris responses to repeating his actions if released, it would seem very unlikely. Why? He, (like many) has narcissistic traits, but with the benefit of intelligence and analytical process. He knows the consequences, he's chosen to admit those have come at a cost he's not prepared to pay again. Meaning unless he determined he was so smart, he could 100% get away with it, while being on everyone's maximum risk radar for life, he's simply not stupid, or stupid enough to act on that. I'm actually impressed at his bravery to confront himself and his conscience and the criticism. It shows he's wanting to learn from this, accept his actions, mistakes, and make conscious choices that won't lead to such costly and negative outcomes. Paris also exhibits a level of self-discipline the majority of us could learn from. Given all the above, why would he want to hurt himself with such consequences again? The only potential "missing" aspect, is most people would have an empathy with others, knowing your own actions hurt others as well as yourself. But given all the so called experts are so emphatic in labelling Paris a narcissistic, text book psychopath, and he only cares about himself, then why would he bring about a situation, after being released, that will hurt himself, with more life in jail and no parole? It's not logical to do that. If Paris has no empathy, then all he does have is logic, why would he ignore that? He isn't insane, he's intelligent, and logical. Can intelligent people act illogically? Regardless of IQ, I see most people ignore logic, do we consider them a danger? I think logical actions are less likely to result in danger. This entire story is terribly sad, what a waste from so many angles.

Well it's up to the parole board. I agree there is something not right with his family. He was 13. So there is a good chance he is reformed. But I personally would never trust him. But there is also something not right about the mother. But I don't know what. Her son killed her daughter. Her attitude has been peculiar.

My dad had an IQ as 150. He was an alcoholic with no job. And my grandfather was at 170. He was a psychologist. Head of Higher education in his district. Died at 70 after becoming an alcoholic after retirement. Just goes to show you can be as smart as it comes and be a screw up. Just because Paris is smart doesn't mean he is better. Or more logical. They certainly never killed anyone. But they were horrible arseholes to their families. But at least they never stabbed their sisters to death. My grandfather was made to live alone in a house at 10 years old. A house with no heating, no PlayStation as obviously they weren'tinvented then. His mother wanted him out so she made him live alone in a croft house. And what did he do. He didn't Stab his relatives. He got an education and and worked for a living. He was the most intelligent man in the family. And when I knew him he was bumbling mess. On a bottle of whisky a night. You think just because someone smart they are more or less likely to kill again. Paris is likely to kill again. He was not severly abused at all. A bit neglected maybe. Poor little baby. My heart bleeds. You Want that Paris near your family. Em no. Didn't think so.

The literature is VERY CLEAR on both psychopathy and sexual homicide offender's; neither can be treated or cured, and violence WILL continue to escalate. Paris suffers from a lifelong, violent pathology which consumes his thoughts like that of an addict (it is termed fantasy), and is the highest risk offender type there is. Further, Cluster B personality types, which he has, form as a result of biological, psychological, and sociological factors, therefore "logic" has no link to his compulsive behaviors and thoughts (think Bundy).
