McLaughlin destroyed the field winning gold and improving on her own world record in the process. Bol didn’t run the race she’d have liked going out too fast trying to keep up with McLaughlin and it cost her a silver medal as she faded at the end. She’s still very young with plenty of room for improvement and experience counts in this event. McLaughlin is good enough to maybe even switch to the 400m. Her world record time of 50:37 was just short of the qualifying time for the 400m final. She has intimated she might switch and I’m sure she’d be just as good.

The Champion of the high jump womens is from Russia. She s just competing for another country. But she dominates the high jump, like OLGA KORBET use to dominate Gymnastics. Just saying!!!
