Canadian here, just have to say Femke Bol is both awesome and amazing. It's a sad commentary on the state of the world that when an athlete gives respect and credit to another, especially one from a different country, it comes as a surprise to many and it illicites criticism and ridicule. Femke obviously respects her sport, her fellow athletes, and upholds the highest values of sportsmanship and the spirit of competition. She's a true gem and was a joy to watch at the Paris Olympics.

She reminds me of my little sister, very cute and goofy, doesn't try to look special. She has a genuine smile, talks funny, and is very frank and polite. She doesn't try to be the center of attention nor bring drama to her team. She has integrity in her training. Another thing I appreciate about her is that she isn't on any anabolics or banned substances. She continuously competes in 400 hurdles, or 400 flat, and/or relays. This means in-competition testing is a regular/consistent thing. She is, without question, physically fit, but not bulging with ridiculous roid muscles. She doesn't avoid competing to cycle off substances that are only tested for in-competition. She is very natural. There is nothing weird about her face from testosterone like you see with some of her competitors.
@a2knyc5 ай бұрын
She, like all athletes, is subject to random testing even out of season. She doesn't have a lot of muscle because that's just her body type, similar to Dalilah. Some people have a much easier time building that muscle. She is able to race year round because for whatever genetic reasons, her connective tissue stability is off the charts.

@@Superbounce3 Are you that naive? Do you not understand how history works or how the system is gamed? There are tons of documentaries, historical cases, and current cheating cases to educate yourself. If we're talking about female athletes, use Google and your brain to look at the Chinese swim team and that current controversy. What are you 5? No one said women can't be muscular.
