This is the perfect sermon to reflect the verse in the bible "let the dead bury the dead". As christians we should only worry about Christian things. Our life for Christ and that of our brothers in Christ. Let those outside of Christ bury themselves. Because they are the true dead. However, I do completely disagree on the stance of not judging others. That is not biblical. We are called to discern, and to judge. Without judgment, is blind acceptance.

I don't think they were afraid if they were afraid they would not have done it knowing the terror of the Lord. Luke 12:4-5 “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. You are right of course. However, should we just accept it without a voice raised in protest? Generally, when we think of martyrs, we mainly consider it was only the ancient Christians but that's not the case. Just here in the US there has been over 2 dozen church shooting since 2000. The people that were murdered may not have been Orthodox but that doesn't negate the fact that they died for their beliefs. Around the world there are Christians that have to meet in secret and risk their lives if they "came out" as Christians. Can't we agree to forgive them 7 x 70, pray for repentance but still have the moral courage to say that this is not right?
