Great pod! And even greater, that you guys talk that much about my homecountry team Germany. They don`t get the credit their deserve in general till now. Their path to winning the world cup wasn`t easy, still they won all games. Thanks for giving us some flowers:) Since i was a huge Bulls fan through the 90s, i loved seeing Luc Longley getting his flowers by that fantastic doc australian TV put together after the last dance. Must watch, i`ve seen it at least 4-5 times till it came out.. GO Germany:)!

Unless I'm missing something, Brian Windhorst is wrong when he says two groups will have two teams advance and one group will have three teams advance. 2+2+3 = 7, but we need 8 teams for the QFs. I'm pretty sure that two groups will have THREE teams advance and one group will have only TWO teams advance.

yep correct, sucks us aussies in group of death because any other group i can see us finishing top 2 or 2 of the best teams finishing 3rd if that makes sense? this group u have to finish top 2 dont think 3 will be enough

​@@Fred316-i1f yeah I think groups B and C will have the best 3rd placed teams since there is an easy beat team in each of those groups which the third placed teams in those groups can get a big boost to their cumulative margin so much so it will likely be positive. It's unlikely the team 3rd in group A will have a positive cumulative margin.

Can anyone tell me out of the 12 countries that have qualified for the Olympics... which club/ franchise or team has the most players representing there country? I have the Tasmanian Jack Jumpers,the reining 23/24 NBL championship winners coached by Scot Roth has 3 players representing. Jack McVeigh & Will Magney for Australia and Majok Deng for South Sudan.

Another weakness of the US, is that the team is stacked with millionaires who don't want to risk injury for a medal. These blokes will try to preserve themselves for the big show. Their talent is through the roof, but there will be brakes on their physicality and grit.
