What a splendid City! I was in Paris in 2015- 2021 and just in 2020-2021 the City was empty, almost like in the 50‘s.

La beauté de cette ville sans ce mobilier urbain , ces panneaux, qui ont TOUT enlaidi ! les perspectives sont gâchées, les aspects linéaires ont disparu, l'unicité aussi. Tout est défiguré

As the documentary said: Paris was miraculously saved from the bombing that destroyed many other great cities in Europe like Berlin, London, Vienna or Rome..... Paris passed throughout WW2 untouched.........

Fake information. London, Rome and Vienna were NOT destroyed. The overwhelming majority of important buildings still stand in these cities. Reconstruction work took place too. London has a LOT of buildings that date back centuries and some are even between 1,000-2,000 years old like the Tower of London, the London Wall, Westminster Hall and St Pancras church. Rome has sooo many ancient buildings. Rome was also declared an "open city" after 1943 and no longer bombed. Even before then, targets included air bases and industrial yards. Apart from four bombs dropped on the Vatican, I don't know of ANY historical monuments that were affected. I assume you haven't visited any of these cities?
