It does seem that everyday life is continually organizing itself in different configurations, with concentrated moments of beauty and meaning all around, it’s just a matter of opening up to them (whether you’ve got a camera in your hand or not). It’s a skill I value and try to improve upon, and it’s one of the great joys (and challenges) of photography. I’m so glad you enjoy this type of video, I look forward to making more soon.

Love these photo walks! Really making me see Paris (and my photography) in a new way. I'm always trying to "see the shot" when you pause to take a photo...I almost never saw the same thing you did!

Thanks for the great comment! It’s wonderful how different photographers can see a scene differently. Sometimes when watching these back I see something in the video footage and think “Oh crap there was a cool shot right in front of me but I didn’t see it!” 😊

Aaaahhhh Luxembourg Gardens. I'll never be able to go there without remembering the wonderful "Ladies of Luxembourg" chat we had with you in March 2022. @LisaChorney chasing you around the park sneaking pictures, the laughs we all had during the chat, then trying to drag Lisa out of the park as they closed! :) But the light...... She got some great shots!! .. And of course the 3 hour dinner afterward.... So much love, and wonderful memories!

Very sentimental for me as we stayed across the street from Luxembourg Gardens on our last trip and walked through it almost daily. Love trying to figure out your "eye" - exactly what you are shooting.

Anyone in Paris is wonderfully spoiled when it comes to churches, gardens, courtyards, etc. But it’s also the world’s most photographed city so the challenge to see it in a fresh way is both daunting and exhilarating.
