So happy to see you guys back! I'd like to know more about what you ate, and where you ate, Jamie! It's interesting to see yarn that I sell in these shops in Paris! And to see how other shops display their yarn - giving me ideas ;) I am far behind on my Flax KAL so I better get going on it before the 8th - Westknits MKAL will be overtaking my life then. I also enjoyed hearing about Franklin's move... I've always dreamed of moving to Scotland, I hope that one day this will still happen.... Thanks again for a very enjoyable episode - can't wait to see the next one!

Great podcast. Nice yarn shops in Paris. Would be interesting what the prices are for yarn compared to Canada and US.
@cabinboyknits18163 жыл бұрын
Connie, I agree with you. Jamie didn't buy any yarn so I didn't get a sense of the price difference. I guess we will have to make it over there to check out the prices for ourselves.

Living in Ireland I have been to France a lot, but it was wonderful to see Paris through your eyes Jamie. Loved seeing all the sights and hearing all the interesting historic pieces of information - what a great episode this was. Also, how fantastic that a guy opened his own yarn shop - have never come across that before - will definitely have to visit Enrico on my next trip. Thank you so much for chatting with him, and not forgetting Lil Weasel either of course. 😃

Mercy Jamie. This was a very special, surprise episode. I love to travel with you all to Paris. How nice that you celebrate a special day day with a good friend, and that you managed to share the city and the atmosphere with us. As we live in the Netherlands we have been there a couple of times. It was so nice to be there again. My special place is waching the city go by, from behind the big glass clock in the museum. Give our love to your friend, for the special day, ,and thanks for sharing 🥂💐

@cabinboyknits18163 жыл бұрын

Oh Paris…sigh… museé D’Orsay is my favourite, both for the art and the architecture. And thanks for the yarn shop recommendations. We always stay in La Marais, and have taken the metro to La Bien Aimeé. So nice to know that there are two beautiful shops nearby. And that passageway. Wow!!! Can’t wait to feel comfortable travelling again! And your doggo is gorgeous!!!

Wonderful episode, thank you! I am not 100% sure, but I think the statue at 21:19 may be showing a woman with a distaff in her upper hand (holding her fibre supply) and a spindle in her lower hand. Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa where Spring has arrived!
