Shook, I had to watch it a few times to fully soak it all in. I absolutely love this. It stole my breath again & again! Such incredibly talented dancers, lighting tech, & editor for bringing this to life. Tbh I did not like this song when it first dropped, but this choreography and creative vision for the piece has moved me. I mean as a long time believer in the religion the song was talking about I still FREAKING LOVE this cult concept.

This is amazing choreography. But why is the word cult at the beginning? That completely just skews the meaning of the song. Kanye is talking about how he has been set free by God. Is there some other meaning to it?

it doesn’t necessarily add meaning or skew the meaning of the song but rather adds meaning to the dance and in doing that the song can be interpreted differently but that doesn’t mean it takes away from the original message of the song it just draws the spotlight elsewhere.
