Makes it easy when you have such dominate teammates. PC’s starting 5 can’t compare to Hopkins in size nor physically...... easy to pass the ball the 6’0 plus 2 guards

She really passes it to the SIX FOOT post and two guards so not really what I call teamwork. I would describe that as passing to other teammates and giving them chances.

Kenzie does it all tho Paige can too but she’s more of a outside shooter. Kenzie definitely helped her team and passed a lot. She was unselfish and through it all it shows she’s a great player she assisted rebounded shot and defended. She came out for a break a few times and each break was never over a minute. Kenzie ran the court and did her job. A great player is a great player.

This was a great game and is great seeing the matchup between Bueckers and Mackenzie because Mackenzie is more of a scorer where Bueckers can score but I would regard her as more a playmaker. And in these games it’s not just about the star it’s about the rest of the players.

Bueckers is a generational talent. Definitely the best player in high school and will immediately make an impact with UConn next season. Her game is translatable to all levels despite not having elite athleticism. Just so skilled and smart and plays hard on both ends, makes winning plays. Was impressed by Mackenzie who's also a great talent- crafty scorer, good shooter and tremendous finisher who can create her own shot and move without the ball. A good ballhandler, passer and defender as well. She is one to keep an eye on for sure.

see that is the problem with basketball today, people see a person put up alot of points and they think thats the all around player. yes mckenzie outscored beckers but who controlled the team , how many assist did mckenzie have? how many steals how many rebounds etc.... best player is not the leading scorer , the best player is who controls the game.....

i legit only had to watch the first 10 minutes of the game to see that Paige is the best on the court. her vision is crazy, her shot selection is crazy.. in a good way. the other girl, McKenzie, she got a good motor, can score in bunches but Paige is not scoring on FAST BREAK LAYUPS. Paige is really dissecting shit, analyzing the floor + making the right play. her throw ahead passes on the break are more impressive than being the one to catch a cherry pick and lay it in.. McKenzie needs better teammates around her as well, both played A1. #24 in white was the weakest on the floor, just bad energy dawg.
@lindseywiseley5005

within minutes I would've had #24 on the bench, no room for that attitude in this caliber of a game. she obviously didn't want to be playing. I think McKenzie shows she deserves to be recognized though. her speed down the court and aggressive/well played defense isn't something to be overlooked. McKenzie with better players around her would be an even bigger force to reckon with than she is now.

S O F T T E A R S hell nah. PC is a good basketball team, but when you go up against a better overall team they will NOT look as good. You clearly don’t know anything about basketball

TheRealPowers 1 I’ve been around HS ball for a long time, I can guarantee, I know more stuff than you. Park Center is overrated, they have 1 player that carries the load, without her, their offensive efficiency goes down significantly. When she’s the only player , that is consistent, & the rest of the players miss wide open baseline shots, this team is not going nowhere. & when Hopkins put that zone on them, they couldn’t do shit. Especially when Adalia, was missing shots in the 2nd half, they couldn’t do shit. She’s their only threat. I’ll recommend you stop watching basketball. You don’t got basketball knowledge my man.

TheRealPowers 1 & if PC is a “good basketball team”, they should do good against another “good” basketball team. Especially, when both teams were undefeated... stop talking.

S O F T T E A R S they put up 79 points against the best high school girls team in Minnesota. They’ve lost 1 game, just shut your mouth and become educated

TheRealPowers 1 Yeah & one girl scored almost half... once you lock her up this team is done. Like I said you saw what happened when they put that zone on them.

Thing is though, Paige is more of a playmaker, she could be a scorer if she wanted to but she doesn’t need to because everyone on her team is amazing. Adalia is more of a scorer and she is kind of forced to be because she doesn’t get much help offensively. Both players are very good in different ways.
