Park Distance Control supports you during whether you're parking or maneuvering.
Our smart parking technology uses ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumper to monitor surroundings and alert you to any obstacles in your path. This parking technology helps you park with visual cues, giving you piece of mind while allowing you to park your luxury vehicle safely.
To activate Park Distance Control, simply press the Parking Assistant button or engage the vehicle in reverse gear. Enable or disable Park Distance Control through the “Settings” menu in iDrive.

Dang, I feel like an idiot now. I got a 2020 430i back in december and couldn't figure out for the life of me how to activate the parking aid lines; it wasn't in the parking settings or anything and the owner's manual didn't give any clues either. This vid taught me all I had to do was select it from the side bar options when the display is in parking assistance mode

Exactly what i assumed when i bought 2023 3 series, turns out its a $700 separate option which the dealer didn't opt in. It was on a 21 canry that i rented from enterprise 2 years ago 🙄

I thanks for this lol! I discovered my 540i with the parking assistance package has this ACTIVE PDC with braking interv. today when I was trying to back into a parking space and the car slammed on brakes! I thought I killed my transmission or somthing! Now I know. 😆🤪

Good interactive video😊👍..I’m using 330e G20..Can PDC detect low level obstruction such as road divider? I’ve encounter such situation during approach for front parking, car bumper passed over road divider about 1mm but PDC don’t give warning😅
