She definitely deserves more recognition in Korea. She's been consistently amazing since her debut but people don't realize that she's put so much effort into taking her talent to the next level. It's just sad that she hasn't met the right company to work with her.

Park Ki-young is a famous Korean female singer. She is also Sohyang's best friend, and along with Sohyang, she is recognized as the best female vocalist in Korea. Although Sohyang is much more recognized for her skills, Park Ki-young sang a lot of popular music, so until 10 years ago, she was more famous than Sohyang to the general public. However, when Sohyang started singing regular songs other than CCM... Sohyang has now become untouchable in the Korean music industry.😂

@@ZoeStibiVocalCoach she's similar to Sohyang in that point (which makes sense since they're friends) from what I know. So she's not seaking fame but doing her things comforting people although she's more frequently on Immortal Songs like Sohyang is for example. 🙂 but I think they have a similar mindset towards fame from what I know

@@yanki198 It is very sad that a lot of fabulous artists are relatively "unknown" in a world wide sense however I think that they still earn a pretty good living from their work. Helene Fischer from Germany is completely unknown but is the 9th highest earning Woman in music. ;)

Oh, I missed that! No notification, maybe because it was uploaded already but blocked first. Thank you for making it possible! I love how you pointed out that the beginning is already great because it seems so easy but it's already full of technique which she's mastering. I'm glad you seem to like her! But beware, she's a chameleon, this is just a small bit of the things she can't do. Can you believe she's a rock singer actually? But she's nailing all genres and for example opera as well even though she's not trained. Her technique allows her everything. Her mix is insane. Please check out "Spring Rain", she's showing of her rock roots there slightly. Or, since you're talking about breath support and long notes often in your videos, "A song for you", she's not showing of much of her range here but her switches and transitions are masterful and she holds her notes for ageeees 😳
