Judi Morhli I mean if you want to get technical, she does have a few flaws in her vocal. She places her voice in the throat so the higher the note the more throatiness, or close-throat you can hear from her belts. If you compare her upper belts to those of So Hyang’s, you will see a big difference in terms of resonance and clarity.

Khang you re making the wrong assumption others make. There is a difference in ther voice type from Sohyang's. I am not going to get ito any debate but the way she shapes her mouth, her placement and some of the qualities in her voice people are making wrong asumptions in her belts about are encased in good techniqe to bring out the strengths and manage the unigue "challenges" with her voice (everyone has this), and nothing to do with throat tension or throatiness. Onthe contrary, her throat is very free. Sohyang has a voice type that is more of the "big belting" voice, but they are both sopranos, with similar ranges, but with significant differences in voice types
