Let's talk about how I edit a photo of my pet in Lightroom, from making her pop in the photo to balancing the colours and dodging and burning. We're treating this a lot like a portrait since that's what it is. Let's dive in.

Nice video and edit, but I feel that pets need more depth of field. Straight on shot concentrating focus on eyes only, meant there was a lovely shiny nose here that was way out of focus.

I totally agree actually, especially since, as you say, they tend to have longer faces and could definitely benefit from a bit more depth of field :-)
