Cooled my engine 10 degrees average. Better starts at 10 negative and better lubricant on hot days better fuel mpg. U name it. Better oil my 2 Chevy s 255k miles Moyer clean and no click in lifters no leaks in seals it's the best!

Looks like any decently maintained hydrostatic pump at 10k hours. I don't see anything special I would attribute to the brand of oil. But the gear pump looks particularly good. Gotta wonder if that gear pump wasn't changed b4.

@Wannabejober I would challenge that statement about Amsoil ! I've seen NOTHING but amazing things from it for the past 40 years...

I was present when this video was filmed. When Jim tore down the gear pump he just up and left the film crew and went to his office. He came back to the shop, the camera crew started rolling. You could see the shock on his face. He went to his office to call the customer. The shop foreman at Parke Logging looked over the maintenance records again to verify it was the original pump. You will notice that his hair is messed up from scratching his head when he came back. To this day, Jim is still a big believer in Schaeffer Hydraulic Fluid. I stopped by to visit with hime a while back. He told me he can tell whenever a pump comes in that’s had Schaeffer in it. Anyone familiar with a Feller Buncher like this with a hot saw on it, 10,000 hours without a tear down is unheard of. It made a believer out of me!

my husband was the operator of that machine for the first 8,000 hours on it. He said they had zero problems with it!
