the trick is to hold the block button and parry on releasing the button, then its pretty cool :)

I can do no death runs on sekiro but this is really trying my patience and I would like to enjoy and finish lies of p but it just seems excessively cheap and frustrating with the parry window

@@trevordaly5039 its basically inbetween releasing the block button and then pressing it again, you only have parry frames when the weapon is at a certain hight, and by holding block to then releasing and pressing block again before an incoming attack you basically have instant parryframes, just dont tap it like in sekiro because then you will have a weird timing window... Also another tip is to not try to parry everything, you have s on the dash and by dodging through some attacks you get so much more punish opportunitys

@@trevordaly5039 it worked differently for me: just start holding block before the attack connects. Don't release, it's not necessary for a parry. If you're late you'll take full damage. If you're early you'll block and you'll get guard regain you can heal back up by hitting. So aim to start blocking sooner rather than later, but you'll have to learn the timings and rhythm of the fights to get consistent at parrying. (Parrying doesn't suck at all in lies of p, it's a skill issue)
