I'm my opinion, Parker has the best mental game. I watched him average 180 during a block at a tournament and fought his way to match play and to TV finals. He won that tournament. One thing about Parker, you never knew if he was bowling well or bad, because he was always calm. Dudes a legend! I miss the old pba! Voss, Ozio, Duke, etc... Pba now is a bunch of privileged crybabies who compete in far weaker and easier tournaments

I disagree! They old hall of famers are great!! But I’m sorry but the players now are just better. Simply. They have proven that 100%. People often see that the averages are huge and they say “oh it’s just easy”. If average 230 over 50 games means easy to you, then you need to rethink your life 😂 and I’m not one of those people who say the young ones out bowl the older bowlers, no. Everyone is strong in their own way but the new generation of youth is just better than the previous generation, that’s how it should be. That goes for all sports!!

@@PBALowlights The only thing the new generation is better at is lofting the gutter cap. And that's because they grew up with resin. These guys grew up with urethane and adjusted to resin. Today's bowlers don't need to be as accurate as bowlers of the past.

@@PBALowlights Players today are much worse. 100%. That's because the balls are so aggressive that literally everyone can have an extreme angle into the pocket. Those older players never had that. The ball hit weaker. There was more adjusting needed and making spares was more critical since stringing tons of strikes wasn't as likely. Basically, the older players were more well-rounded. People these days don't even bother adjusting their line. They just grab a different ball and try to throw the exact same line. Have you ever watched a young pro drill an old ball from the 80's or early 90's and throw a few games? They struggle and can't score well at all. Yet the older guys can pick up a new ball and score great.

@@BornIn1500 Guy, do you realize how much transition the pros have to deal with? It's impossible to simply "grab a different ball and try to throw the same line"

If a lefty says he can’t figure out what to do when the lanes start breaking down I look at him and say.. I make an adjustment every other frame your bowling by yourself basically.
