@@scottd3532 Grand Funk covered our song. However, Max Carl who was in 38 Special and co-wrote the song with me and Cal Curtis is now GF’s singer. That’s why they perform it. JC

Parker, my wife and I left a bar in St. Louis Saturday afternoon cause the country singer was not very good. IF you had been there singing and played this. HOLY SHIT, I'm staying. This is SO AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL, WOW. I love 38 Special and this tune, listened to it all the time on the radio when this came out back in the 80's, On the radio all the time, it was VERY popular. You do this classic proudly, NICE work.

IMO, its very rare that a cover matches the original, but you exceeded it, and I LOVE 38's original version with Max's voice. An extra added bonus is he was one of the writers, and I always bow to the writer when he/she performs the song, but your version is terrific, top shelf. I've probably listened to this 100 times in a few months. Great job, I hope you write your own stuff too. I would love to hear it.

I've been following you since 2004, learned about you by chance, a song you had on a compilation disc (back when I owned a tiny recording studio) a client brought it in for me to listen to and do a track for him sing the same song. I was blown away and have been ever since. I've always wanted have some of my friends and family and myself to see you live on stage.
