Yes oppression can be viewed on a global front which put into perspective the oppression playbook right in our own backyard. It hits different when you see the same play in different regions and over timelines over different geographic regions.

I remember getting an uncomfortable feeling after Oct 7th when Biden first made the announcement that the US would ALWAYS stand with Israel. I'm not psychic or anything, but my first thought was, "How can you simply throw all of our support behind them (or anyone) no matter what? We can't see the future. Israelis had issues with their president and elections too. What are you going to do if he turns up on some b.s and you've already put your foot in your mouth and ours too?" I wish I'd been wrong.
