🫣 ummm while recognizing the negative aspects of the powers that be using this as a political stunt and the intricate dynamics at play, I believe that, in a broader sense, banning TikTok could represent a ‘complex win’ for society. TikTok has notably influenced American societal norms, primarily by promoting short-form content that diminishes attention spans and, consequently, the capacity for comprehensive learning. And not mention the influx of extreme consumerism… I think it’s time for us to start letting a lot of this stuff go so we can try to rebuild our minds and communities 🤷🏾‍♀️ the billions being made from TikTok aren’t benefiting us.
