Hey, Johnny! You can't imagine what handicapped parking means to us. Thirty years ago my husband ran onto a highway to shove a little girl into the median and save her life. He was hit by the oncoming car and almost every bone was shattered . He lay in a coma for a long time. Stayed in hospital for a full year. He lost his leg and has almost as much metal inside him as an automobile 🚗. He has not lived one moment since that day without pain. He remains a kind, gentle, loving and cheerful man. We are in our sixties now and his mobility is a big issue. Access to parking is absolutely critical for us. Keep up the good work and God bless you.

In Ireland, they decided to combat widespread drunk driving by putting a law in place so if you were convicted of driving over the legal limit, whatever vehicle you happened to be operating was taken to the salvage/wrecking yard and turned into scrap metal. Company vehicle, rented vehicle, or friend's vehicle? Tough sh*t, you're on the hook. We need a law here ( USA and Canada) where if you park in a handicapped spot without the necessary permit, you lose that vehicle.

I fought a cop over a handicap spot at a restaurant a few years ago I kid you not. Im such an idiot I even threatened to remove their car from the spot if they wouldnt. Officer was arguing he was only there to grab fast food and leave and i wouldnt have it. My friend is a paraplegic usmc and those spot are not for lazy people. Thankfully I made enough of a fuss in the restaurant to not get in trouble. He moved his patrol car and THEN came back for his lunch I dont care who you are, if you are wrong, you are wrong!

I’m waiting for the whole world to come up with a disabled parking system a sensor in the sign and spot including the hang tag and or license plate so the spot can sense it’s ok to be parked in the spot but if it does not sense a hanger or plates a tow truck would be sent out immediately. Simple solution that would even address a lot of the fake hang tags to! The world needs more people like Johnny!! Absolutely gold!!!

No one wants to put up with arrogant, entitled customers for poverty wages… and move up? In retail? Lol like why would you even want that. Retail and service industries are starving for workers because they’ve been getting away with junk wages for too long. Stop depending on tips and pay people what they need to live. Bless you...I see cars parked in handicap spots frequently without a handicap sticker. Those handicap parking spots are a life saver to us elderly with mobility issues who are trying to stay independent and not have to call on others for help all the time. In fact, several times as I was about to pull into one, a snarky teen-ager zipped in, flipped me off and darted into the store and I had to continue searching for a spot. From what I've been told, the job situation is like that just about everywhere; friends and family in the Houston area say the same thing, no excuse for not having a job...they're hiring everywhere you look, nationality and language is no barrier if you want to work.

Actually, the problem is that the people who come to America should learn to speak English!

Thanks Johnny for getting another cheater out of the zone. It is hard enough to find a parking space when you are handicapped.
