Anybody on this channel been approached by scammers? They pretend to be Johnny and say you won a prize then want to charge a delivery fee to get it to you.$750 one delivery fee for a Dodge charger. Please look into this Johnny these scammers will hurt your channel

If you allow people to store disabled vehicles on a property, it eventually will turn in to a junkyard. I can't blame a manager for trying to keep a property nice. That's his/her job!

The condo complex I inherited from my dad when he passed away has an HOA and condo management. There are signs posted everywhere what you can and cannot do. It's in the residents best interest to read and abide by their regulations. You park where you want or how you might get towed! It seems like they are being mean but in order to keep things up to code and nice they tow! I don't blame them at all. Towing is fun! It makes for great videos!

I agree with Johnny 100%. If you allow bad parking behavior it will only get worse. I lived in a neighborhood where you only had 2 parking spots per home. My neighbors kept parking in my yard and I asked them politely not to do it but that didn't sink in. I finally used a tow strap and my SUV to pull their car to the end of the street where the visitor parking space was located and that finally stopped them from parking on my grass.

First, to that hater...you obviously have not been listening to Johnny explain many times that the properties have to tow to keep the property up and avoid property inspections that would cause them to receive citations. Johnny is always above board and has been helpful to people on many occasions. Johnny, haters gonna hate. They just have to project it on to someone rather than deal with their own issues. There's a social housing area near the house I last lived at, it's notorious for cars parking on the accessways and footpaths, and wrecks being left outside houses. Nothing gets done so the residents they keep doing it. A couple of tow trucks would make everyone clean up their act pretty quick. You're doing good work, all those other residents at those properties who follow the rules will appreciate you and your work..

@@trekgirl65 In my country, social housing means Government subsidised housing provided to low-income families. The Government are usually also the property owner, but many are provided by not-for-profit organisations and a small number by for-profit companies. (Hence why 'public' wouldn't be accurate.)

@@Michaelthekiwi If the Government is subsidizing the rent, where do you think that money comes from? The public paying taxes. Hence, it is public housing. It is irrelevant if the property is owned by the government, a person, a non-profit, or a corporation. If the rent is being paid for with tax payer funds, it is public housing, because the public is paying for it.

"Only in it to make money" has to be the most idiotic statement I've ever heard. I heard it a lot when I towed too. $65K to $95K for a new(er) self loader wrecker and anywhere between $125k to $200K for a flatbed rollback. With that much money tied up in an asset, not including insurance, registration, permits, vehicle maintenance, purchasing or leasing an impound lot, paying the operators which in some states requires a CDL, paying the office and lot personnel... Yeah, we're there to make money when we provide our services. Keep up the good work Johnny!

You are correct on the fact that If the property doesn’t tow will look terrible. Back when I did private property towing I had a call for a ford van full of trash when I got there the van was infested with mice ! Of course no one claimed the van and it sat in our yard 30 days

You did a great job yanking both of those vans. You do great job dealing with the public and towing vehicles. That ladies husband should have had tire replaced way before you showed up. I still can’t believe the amount of people that don’t have spare tires for their vehicle’s. All they have to do is put the spare tire on and take the other tire to a tire shop to have it fixed or replaced. I totally understand there are times where you can’t get every vehicle for what ever reason. I like coming one here and watching your channel and you do great job posting all the content and stuff. You’re right without the threat of towing tenants would never comply with rules. I manage an apartment complex for the last 27 years so I know what I’m talking about. I don’t think people understand Gwinnett county has Code Enforcement they give the ticket to the complex and they have to pay it …That’s why the complexes tow’. You can also look into the lease that you sign about having junk cars or unregistered or on drivable cars on the property😊 I know where that complex is they did a lot of work there thanks for the video Johnny👍

It's so simple. All you have to do is communicate with the office. When I lived in an apartment, my brother was in the army and was assigned to Korea (DMZ) for a year. He asked me to keep his car until he got home. I informed the office and they said it was fine. They never put it on a tow list. It's all about communication.

Johnny, I watch a few tow truck drivers and each of them only tow when they are called by the PD or the property owners. They don't go around looking for vehicles to tow. Property owners don't want vehicles that don't run or have updated tages on their property. Think about it!! If you owned property would you like people storing broken down or expired vehicles on your property?

I really do enjoy this channel! My husband had a car towed 4 or 5 years ago, but it was consensual. He had his "new" 1940 Plymouth Deluxe car towed more than halfway across the top of Ohio, from it's old home to our home. At $400 it wasn't cheap, but it was necessary because the car did not drive. I think tow guys are just fine. Especially Johnny! Thank you for sharing these videos with us!

@8:37 - We lived in a complex and two individuals of the darker persuasion would clean their car out every night and dump all of their garbage right beside their car. Bottles, cans, fast food wrappers, mail, even full-sized liquor bottles. It wasn't a top-of-the-line establishment, but it was nice. I took photos, put up flyers and the management eventually sorted it out. WTF is WRONG with people these days?? The worst part was the sauce packets that they tossed out. They would explode when people drove over them and spray cars with sauce.

The van had been sitting a good minute by all the gunk under there, but the day the tow comes they were all of a sudden on the way with the tire? Yeah, ok. Talking about trash people throw in parking lots... our complex cleans up everywhere but back here where I am, I'm all the way in the back area where there isn't any traffic... we have neighbors that throw their trash all over the lot even though they are on their way inside... there's are also about 15 dumpsters here! Why is it so hard? My boyfriend usually ends up picking up the trash because we don't want to look at it and it causes bugs, rats and all sorts of critters. People can be so filthy.

I had run down junk cars when I was working my way through school. I kept them running, tagged and insured. They looked like hell and I never had a problem with management. I lived in decent apartments too. Keep your car running and legal and management will never give you an issue for it.

As a former tow truck operator I like the small things people may not see. Your ability to manuver vehicles with different implements to get the required vehicle on the deck. It seems the bulk of your work is caused by foreigners who believe they can do what they please and not follow the rules/ laws.

I really like this channel and another one out of Tennessee. Both very respectful tow guys. I have ran into a few tow reality shows that were awful. Every tow and repo there was a fight..over acting at it's finest. Awesome channel! Stay safe out there!

Most of the negative commenters usually have no clue what it takes to run a business. I get a lot of the same on my channel (totally different line of work). It's not only the unsightliness of the cars in these apartments, but they have code enforcement doing checks and they can be fined for those vehicles. You do a great job!!

My neighbor passed away in 2016 , his van is still sitting in the driveway with expired plates. City only boarded up the house last year. Because teenagers kicked in doors.

Johnny you are right about what you said in reference to how places will look if people park cars wherever they want. Since the current Police Chief got hired in my hometown, he doesn't enforce ordinances nor parking. I drive around my hometown all the time and it looks like crap because of the junk cars everywhere, and the illegally parked cars too. Heck some people's yards look worse then their cars!

Haters will hate, but if ZERO cars were ever towed, this country would be a trash pile. My elderly mother lived in an apt complex for nearly 3 years (she just passed in Oct). Her complex gave PLENTY of time with cars I’d see stickered before they were towed, then…FINALLY a tow truck came and got the junk away. NO cars would ever be towed IF people would just FOLLOW RULES!!

Hey Johnny. Take a piece of truck bedliner and a heat gun. Cut to width of your lumber. Nail plastic to bottom. Heat up to bend upwards. Nail onto the slant. I've been using ring shanks in a pneumatic framing nailer. Works great. Saves your wood and a lot less friction. Easily just add more plastic on top when it wears. I've been building them for 12 years.

It's tough at there. I surmise the man is doing his best to provide for his family with a safe place to live. Even without knowing him I'd gladly pay for his tow and storage fees. Johnny, as good as you are giving people the benefit of the doubt and as honest as you are I wish you'd except monies to use at your discretion to pay for tows like this. Or get community moderator's to use the money to assist worthy people's. I know it's just words and financial backing from me with me doing no other work but I'd be happy to see a venture like that with a grand. Cheers folks.

I've been towed before, once a bar towed me for not parking in the right spot 20 minutes within arriving, I simply never went back to that bar again. It wasn't the tow truck driver's fault.
