@@erudite60 With all due respect, there should be the word "the" added between "using" and "shortened," and if you are going to single-quote "you are" then you should have done it with "you're" as well, take away the extra space that prepends the period, quote the word "your" in the next sentence, as well as "you're" and double quote "you are abiding by the law," which is actually incorrect because it should actually be "you abiding by the law," write out the number "two" since it is less than 10, and double-quote "your." Not sure why you thought your grammar and use of punctuation was superior than the other person's, but I guess that's the typical American sense of entitlement we see in all of towtrucker's videos...

Man depending on if you got stopped at the property by the owner then I guess it isn’t too bad. But when they come out and don’t find the car etc and have to go to the yard. Holy shit. They fuckin lose their fucking shit. I been doing PPI for over 15 years and it’s in the state that pretty much started the whole PPI game (Cali) but it’s amazing when these fucking morons get towed and they come to the yard to pickup their car. Guess where they park? Right in the fuckin Handicapp and/or FireLanes. I say “And/Or” because fuckin idiots show up with 6 other friends and 2 other cars. Turns into a whole bullshit mess. Then sometimes they call the cops thinking the cops will do something. If they come at all. They don’t consider it a priority. And they will wait there like Hours on end. Few times we had these idiots wait for the cops to show up over 8+ hours and even then the cops were like wtf. These idiots are still here? The cops know we don’t do illegal shit so they know right off the back it’s a super waste of time.

The police will now rely on automated systems which photograph the number plate, identify the registration number using optical character recognition, and check the car's status in a database.[7]

Charles Power Pretty much the same in the U.K. The licence plate stays with the car for life normally, unless someone wishes to pay for a personal plate. The car tax and MOT (annual safety check) status are held in a central database and can be read by both fixed and mobile cameras, or checked over the radio by police if they wish, or in fact by any member of the public online. Cars on the road without valid tax and MOT are liable to be clamped or removed, and the owner fined. The whole process of registrations etc in the US seems very antiquated and labour intensive!
