I left lecture today so confused because all 3 of these are so similar, also ALS. I feel like I am slowly connecting the dots between their differences. I've told all of my classmates about your videos! Thank you for helping me navigate through nursing school!

Well...I have Huntington's Disease, COPD, Type 2 Diabetes, and all the pills I been taking like "Metformin" and "Meloxicam" and other pain relivers are making all my teeth rot and I've lost all my upper teeth now and can hardly eat any real food or anything good I'm used to eating like Steaks, Pork, Sausage, Hamburg, Hot Dogs, Kielbasa!! I am 49 years old and get very tired quickly throughout the day!! probably the medicines I take. I have COPD and still smoke, but tried quitting twice already. After I lost my Father to suicide, I cared even less about myself!! and started up again. Then held my mothers hand in Hospice Care balling my eyes out and emotional overload...started smoking again!! Life is just so God Dam Hard!!! every corner of my life is tragedy. !2 years of mirage and 2 kids later, she divorced me and with no money, job, or friends...had to move out of state an live with my parents like a child all over again! My mental state had been abolished, feelings crushed, emotional state was total confusion of what I am supposed to be doing here besides nothing with my life. No goals, no moral, no responsibility. Today (12 years later) I am with a caring but strict wife who really loves me, even with all my conditions, and even with a felony from 1994 I have to register with ever 6 months for life!! I'm only saying all this because...people think they have it bad having one of these diseases, but I have so many negative ailments, conditions, and lost so much!! It makes me wish I only had the Disease itself. My whole life's a disaster because I still can't think clearly, or stay focused, or stop twitching, I have very high anxiety, and depression. So God Bless you people!!! Apparently he won't bless me. My childhood growing up sucked!! Because all my dad wanted me to do was fix cars with him at age 12 through 19 hoping I would have a strong work ethic!! Yeah right!

Are you on a strict diet? If so you could probably blend the things you like to eat into a thick soup? I’m so sorry that you have to deal with this. Praying for you and your family 🙏

Error possibly? In 3:01, you mention the pt with Parkinson's Disease having dysphasia so they will be at risk of aspiration. That would be dysphagia, no? Because Dysphasia and Aphasia refer to a patient's ability to communicate and understand. Ex. Receptive and expressive aphasia.
