I had DBS done Jan.15.2024. - After a nightmare surgery experience and recovery I had no positive Lesion effects. I actually felt worse than ever. Now they started to programming. No positive effects yet.- I know it takes a lot of programming. So I still have some hope! ( never give up hope!) I was hoping to reduce the medication-now they are telling me that they never promised me to reduce the medication! So wat’s the point? I am 66 years old and diagnosed in 2013. I was hoping to gain a couple more years of independence. Is that too much?
