He's the legend I learnt cricket from....frankly, watching Shane bowling in test matches esp in Aus (great crowd - commentary, knowledgeable n colorful) with morn coffee (in India) was magical...I miss those days...A great ambassador and Advertisement for Test cricket

An Englishman's nightmare love him or hate him and I've done both one thing I always had was the utmost respect for warney leg spin is the hardest form of bowling and like the greats of any sport he made it look easy a true legend and he's up there with my favourite players of all time Viv Richards sashan tendulkar Brian Lara Ian Botham and the legend that is Freddy

Shane is the Man! To me, hes a better cricketer than Akram, Waugh, Tendulkar even Lara. A master of his art, a canny captain, the best batsman @ no.8/9, a huge entertainer & a total lady-charmer (to put it mildly ;)). What a bloke!

Also for the record I think Warne is an excellent bowler, and rate him as the 2nd best spinner of all time, I wouldn't mind being regarded as the 2nd best spin bowler to play the game!. If you want to know why I'm saying this on this video read my first comment, in regards to Parkinson's introduction.....case closed

Every Australian knows Murali doesn't chuck, they just use it as an argument for Warne's benefit. It's been proven, yes his arm is bent when he delivers the ball, it's not his fault, the arm cannot straighten, all the work is done with his wrist and shoulder. Warne bowled with competition of McGrath, Gillespie, Lee. Murali was the only star in his tenure regarding the bowling department . Warne played Eng/RSA the most on non spinner pitches. Murali played Zim/Bangla the most on dust bowls. Sachin rates Warne over Murali due to the fact he felt Warne was always a threat even at 0/100.
