Great video. Very informative. I'm looking at buying a jeep so this helps a lot. Can you continue with the full walkthroughs of the vehicle settings, voice commands, etc.? I'm especially interested in seeing all the different options to "customize" the car regarding door locks, lights, tilting mirrors(?) that kind of stuff.

With this 8.4.A.N Radio can you display some of your favorite pictures on the screen while you are driving. I can do this on my Dodge Durango.

i bought a 2016 Challenger with the Uconnect 8.4. The car I had test drove had the Uconnect 8.4 with NAV. I thought that the salesman understood that is one of the features I wanted. In the course of dealing that fact got lost and I bought the car without it. Only a couple of days after picking it up and setting up SiriusXM did I find out that the car did not have NAV. I like the car so I paid and extra $640 to have it added. I saw the articles and videos about Travel Link and wanted to add it and thought that I could since I now had NAV. I contacted Sirius about this and the lady on the phone told me that I could not be added despite the unit now having NAV. What is the difference between Uconnect 8.4a (NAV added) and 8.4an that would keep this from being added? Is this correct? Is there a hardware difference? I am a little disappointed.

What does the back button do? That's next to the emergency button ??

How do you turn it off so that it does not come on the next time you start the vehicle? The mute button does not do that.

When listening to XM, how do you get the information about the song playing? I listen to the Dead Channel and Jam On, my wrangler had an info button, shows the venue, date etc. Anyone know how to get this info on the 8.4 radio?

I selected the Pandora app on my 8.4 in my 2015 Ram and it said to go to the app store to renew. when I get there nothing can be activated. how do I get Pandora to work?

Seeing as my Cherokee doesn't have the remote cd unit, anyone know if a guy can play video from the SD or USB? If so - what formats will it read?

any idea why my Favorite alerts does not work anymore? I have 13 Ram Laramie ...favorites used to work perfectly fine until that last update and now I NEVER get a favorites notification at the top.....at first I figured the update reset all my favorites so over the last 6 months or so I have spent time resetting all my favorites as i hear them on the radio and still to this day after that last update I have never gotten a single Alert that one of my favorites is on

Dirt_Nassty You will lose all your presets but if you disconnect your negative terminal on your vehicles battery for a couple minutes it will reset the radio to factory default. Then you will be able to program your favorites again.

umm.....push the power button? lol wtf

umm....show me the power button, lol...sorry for being an a**, but yes there is non as you can see nobs on this video, it has volume and mute, which mute is not vehicle restart persistent, so it's kind of aggravation, you have to remember to either volume to 0 every time, or select unused input, otherwise it will not fail to play loud and clear every time you start engine, lol. It seems either it's game or info center in vehicle, devs will always forget some standard important feature and thats why i'm here, hopping to be wrong.
