@@Cheeto_Fingerz it actually does happen with high profile criminals. The warden knows having high profile criminals around regular criminals is going to cause disorder and chaos in the prison so you have to keep them separate. Selena Quintenilla’s killer yolonda saldivar is also segregated from the general population.

My mother was an alcoholic all my life. I have 4 siblings. My mother drank while pregnant with all of us. She was also a smoker & smoked while pregnant with all of us. I am the oldest and the child rearing was delegated to me at 11. So was a lot of the cooking. Each of us children chose our own way as we grew up. Some went farther then others. A couple of brothers went into manual labor, my sister opened her own business, I went to college & ended up an accomplished chef. All of us ended up smokers, but none of us had mental or social problems although she drank for over 40 years. When you pay for someones opinion they are more apt to be on your side. Life is hard for a lot of children now a days. Gone are the days when you came home from school and mom was there to greet you with a snack. This economy forces both parents to work unless you're rich. It's hard to believe that no one could see the anger building up in this kid. A teacher, a student, friends if not parents. It is a shame he felt there was no one he could speak to about these feelings before he erupted in a deadly massacre. I'm afraid this won't be the last one we hear of, especially when we keep allowing children to purchase assault weapons.

@TheSpirit AndTheBride Obviously killing a newborn is not abortion. When it comes to abortion, as a man, I don’t think men should get any say, because it’s not their body. Yeah, the far right can argue about life beginning at first heart beat, which can be as early as three weeks. As for the whole argument about fetal pain, a fetus doesn’t develop the receptors to feel any pain whatsoever until between 24-25 weeks. As far as I’m concerned if a woman gets an abortion on a fetus that’s under 24 weeks, I don’t see how it’s any different then a weed in somebody flower garden. Again, men should get no say in abortion laws, but that’s just what I think. Rather have abortion allowed at all stages then made illegal completely. I never understood why the far right cares more about an embryo then an actual human.

7:02 About Cruz warning the guy at the beginning instead of killing him I guess its a typical trait from some criminals to randomly spare an innocent life where you could have just killed that guy like the others, as if to feel generous and powerful, deciding who can live is for them almost as exciting as deciding who dies, its like playing god in a way. This was described well in Schindler's List with the Ralf Fiennes' scene. You become truly powerful when you choose not to kill where you could have just done that.

But he is already getting life imprisonment or the death penalty nobody is arguing his innocence or freedom or even that he should be rehabilitated; this is mainly a trial about whether or not capital punishment should be abolished or not, because in my eyes, he fulfills the requirements to get the maximum punishment, which is capital punishment, however, capital punishment is evil and many people despise it and think it is wrong, so I doubt he will be executed. The problem is he's exhibited nazi ideology. He has attacked prison guards. He's a super lifer now, with nothing to lose. The inmates are going to torture him, you say? No, he's going to be very popular amongst the gangs. He is exactly the sort they like. He's not going anywhere and unpredictably aggressive. Now they are going to keep him in seg for about five, six years. Let him bulk up, turn into a man and not a stick figure boy. He's got a life ahead of him, albeit a violent one. I watched this trial and the thing I can't get my head around is that the jurors went to the school. They saw the carnage. They heard from all these people whose lives have been ruined, then they saw where all these kids and teachers were murdered. How could that one juror not give him the death sentence? For everyone saying life in prison is worse, no it isn't. Can you imagine living with the knowledge that you're going to be put to death. He would get all the torment associated with being locked up for years with nothing but his death to think about. The stress would be unbearable. I'm against the death penalty, if a mistake is made and the wrong person is convicted, you can't undo an execution, but in this case he did it, no question. Life in prison is always worse than the death penalty. I'll explain as to why... Death. Something we ALL must face. Fight all you want but some day we will all die. Taking a murderer and skip the life sentence and just putting them to the front of the line, is zero suffering. With a life sentence, he/she will get decades of miserable life followed by death. Giving them life in prison followed by death is always a better sentence than skipping the prison stage and killing them. Not to mention, life in prison doesn't come with a luxury last meal of your choosing before you die.

Due to the decision of the jury; Florida's governor Ron DeSantis berated the jury as having failed in their responsibility and overruled a decision by the Florida Supreme Court that required a unanimous jury in Death Penalty cases and allowed for majority rule as a means of preventing so-called "activist jurors" from being able to prevent a sentence of Death by Lethal Injection and allowing murderous monsters like Nikolas Cruz to get away with their crimes. However; forensic psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman sang high praises of the jurors who voted to spare Nikolas' life by saying that they took into consideration his mental, emotional and behavioral health issues. Nikolas Cruz had a history of violent, destructive, out-of-control and erratic behavior coupled with a highly explosive and volatile temper and a history of being extremely abusive towards his ex-girlfriend Dana Craig. When Dana finally got sick of his crap and dumped him (supporters of Nikolas say that she broke his heart) Nikolas became desperate to convince Dana to give him a second chance and take him back. When Dana told him no and ordered him to stay away from her and stay out of her life; Nikolas became enraged and decided to try and beat up her new boyfriend Matthew Rosario as revenge.
