I feel like the conflict in Luca is perfectly fine. It's really refreshing actually to see a movie where the conflict isn't like, the world ending high stakes. I think the interesting part of the movie isn't necessarily the physical conflict but the emotional conflict between the characters, and it's done extremely well! Luca is genuinely one of my favorite movies and it makes me a bit sad that not a lot of people feel the same way. I understand though. My favorite dynamic is definitely Alberto and Luca's relationship. Man that shit hits hard. And I love that Giulia doesn't do that stupid liar-reveal when she finds out Luca is a sea monster, she's just concerned for his safety. Plus I think the comedy is hilarious, and MASIMO?!?!?! Gold✨The ending will have me close to tears every. damn. time.

Scott Pilgrim the Movie WAS NOT adapted very well mainly because when the movie's production got to the point when they were filming the ending scenes, the last few books of Scott Pilgrim, a graphic novel, weren't fully written yet either. The movie was setting up Scott to get back together with Knives at the end but last minute the author of the books decided he would end up with Ramona after all. The movie also cuts out, SO MUCH of the books to the point a majority of the characters are different people in the book and movie. To the fandom from what I can tell, the movie is a bad adaptation but a good standalone movie.

Omg I can talk about Belle for like a whole hour straight. I can totally understand how it isn’t for anyone, even though the movie is an adaptation or was just inspired by beauty and the beast I personally think that wasn’t one of it’s strongest aspects. If anything I think one of the most well executed things in this movie is the cinematography! The way they make the world in VR feel so much bigger compared to the real world was so cool, and then there’s even this one scene where the main character starts singing in real life and then suddenly things start looking more magical instead of the regular still life backgrounds. Watching it on a big screen definitely helped with making the VR world feel huge but watching it on a laptop or TV should also be fine. THE VOCALS DONE BY BELLES VOICE ACTOR (Both English and Japanese) IS INCREDIBLE I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. I personally think it’s so good that I let the beauty and the beast thing for this movie slide! Even if you don’t like the plot I think people could enjoy it for its animation, music, it’s voice acting, and whatever else you personally find interesting about it. I was looking forward to this movie for a really long time, and I personally wasn’t disappointed once I had finished it

They didn't really do well with the lip syncing when Belle was singing, and some of the lines weren't well written. Plus, major potholes and information/fact given at the begging didn't hold throughout the movie. Ex. The way the VR 'U' works.
