Parkour Expert Reacts to Vector 2

After REACTING to the first Vector videogame, Omar Zaki is back with us on Gamology and this time he will be reacting to Vector 2!
Omar will give his insights on how different Vector 2 is to the first game. With his experience in parkour, Omar will show us how realistic the game is and will give us tips on we can achieve some of the moves shown in the game.

Vector 2 is a 2D platformer game available for download on Android devices. The game is set in a dystopian world and features intense gameplay with a procedurally generated environment and lifelike animations. The player must try to escape a research facility full of deadly traps, including lasers, mines, and lifts. The controls are the same as the first game in the saga, and the player runs forward nonstop. The game requires good equipment for a good run.

That's what I was thinking, maybe that explains the superhuman stamina and strength lol. Honestly if vector had a console/PC version it would do well. Heck, maybe they could make a 3d version with next gen graphics if they make enough money. That would be so sick, like a open world parkour game where you can run and sneak around bases grabbing armors and collectibles. Vector has huge potential I really really reallyy hope they don't abandon the franchise, a 3d console/PC version of the game honestly feels like a good move. Simply because of how much they could expand and add stuff to the game like how ubisoft did with hungry shark.

@@NX_KMaybe,I'm just throwing out ideas. They should keep the parkour, but after a while i feel like it would die out. I'm thinking business wise here, gamers love innovation and new mechanics added into games. So maybe stealth or any other sort of mechanic to make the games feel more fresh would be a good idea. Doesn't matter what it could be, just anything new to either enhance the parkour or introduce a whole different play style. Listening to what the players want is pretty important too, I'm just throwing ideas out.

They said it was because it didn't get the expected attention and interaction so they basically abandoned it to later even taking it out stores Big sad for me considering I wanted see how far I could get before they dropped an update after the last one they did

@@metalslug55516 That's still no excuse for not finishing a game. They literally dropped it between a mission. Like they could've easily completed the last mission and called it the end on a cliffhanger or whatever.

I'm just hoping the remaster they did it's finished properly and give us an ending (Currently it only has the original levels from the first game) Also I'm really hoping they make a level editor for users to do its own levels to upload and have other players to play. It would bring *A LOT* of replayability and life expectancy to the game - Even more players as a whole yo make a big community of the likes of Geometry Dash community, for example

@@metalslug55516 yep that's a great idea. Although the newer version actually removed 3/4th of the original content so I still prefer the older version. What sucks is I actually paid for the full version of the OG and now I can't have that anymore.

@@IshanKashyap001 I think the OF game is still on the Playstore but it's called "Vector Classic" although I don't know if you will have to re-buy it or it's the same game but with the name changed

Nekki, the developers, use their proprietary animation software called Cascadeur (available for commercial use) which has a physics solver, that helps them easily animate bodies and manipulate it, which reduces the amount of time spent on animating every detail.

For people wondering Nekki pulled the plug on this one and was taken out of stores (in case you look for it but dont find it) since it didn't achieve the goals they where hoping about players, interaction, downloads and so on Currently they released a remaster version of the original one but only includes a "Hard mode" (just the first world with different music, nigth background and different placement of the bonuses you need to collect for the 3 stars) and they took out the bonus levels of all 3 worlds, putting a random level of those for "daily level" - Theres also more stuff coming in furure updates according to their Twitter/X Also has ads. It can be annoying unless youbplay offline/pay "premium" which I understand but still feels bad. Still it feels good having Nekki returning to Vector and I hope this time the y give the proper love the game deserves

For vector 2: Yeah, although I dunno if it will launch considering they closed the game servers... And if it runs I'm so jealous of you For Vector 1: No, that game still on the the stores but it changed its name from "Vector" to "Vector Classic" or something like that

Gotta agree with the notes on Grip, Injured my knee on a rainy day. Also he is right about the mistake eventually happening. I had done a move more than a hundred times but eventually it all failed and I had no way to recover. Ended up breaking my wrist and injuring my head, lucky to survive the fall from that height with the speed I had, After that incident I just quit, but good times though, it kept me going during difficult times.

Guys nekki has remastered the Vector 1 and changed the UI. it has story and hard mode also, they will add more levels and some new characters soon. give it a try.

​@@Kshitij-fw7bh, the moves became too expensive now. I have to wait for a whole day or less in hopes of playing daily levels (which has a ton of coins). But, as a completionist, it's annoying to grab some of the cubes. Like, there was a cube sitting at the bottom of a ledge. Do I slide to get it? Nope, you have to time your jump in order to get it. At least they tried to make it enjoyable.

Abzu isn't as diverse as subnuatica,abzu is more of a experience/trip then it is realistic. Both games have their charm but it's a completely different experience. Abzu is all about the journey and beauti, subnuatica is about surviving in a world brimming with alien life docile and hostile with many survival elements.

В этой игре есть крутые трюки, но как же мне нравится поведение персонажа при неудаче. Абсолютно любое падение, будь это даже на краю - проработано. Даже спустя 6 лет у нее всё еще огромный потенциал. Это наголову выше первой части, правда, финала мы уже вряд-ли дождемся. Зато вектор 2023 ничем не измененный с горой доната) Nekki: Хы)

I didnt know this game got abandoned but I see why. The first Vector was one of my favorite games of all time and im not even a movile gamer. This game disappointed me so much because it seemed you had to buy upgrades and stuff to complete any of the levels. Just such a let down compared to the first
