Tiny Bakery looks lovely! I'm on queens road quite a bit but never in the morning!

It’s the best! The only sad thing about being more of a Parkrun tourist now is that I don’t get to go to the Bakery every Saturday.

As a slower runner, I never knew how much you all weaved in and out! Will definitely try to stay to the side in future. Great video and review.

It doesn't bother me in all honesty. I think the sped up timelapse perhaps makes it look worse than it feels when you are doing it in real time. Parkrun is not a race at the end of the day, everybody there has absolute equal rights to be on that path, and that's not forgetting those who are walking through the park who aren't even doing Parkrun. I've run that route a couple of hundred times (including non Parkruns) and that was the quickest I've ever done it, so I don't think the weaving had too much impact on my time and experience. I've been in organised races where people are far less 'kind' that they are at Parkrun's and enjoy using their elbows to assert their dominance, so a bit of gentle weaving here and there isn't too bad.

Here from strava... does this parkrun not have a "stay left/right" policy? That must be so frustrating! Congrats on the PB.

I’ve never heard them say such in a briefing, just to give way to other park users. I’ve just learned to weave in and out a bit. I never known any different on quite a few of the parkrun routes I’ve done.

@@RunSDJ Ours (and most of the local ones) specify a side to run on and to give way to other park users.
