Parkrun Removes Age and Gender Records // More or Less Inclusive?

This week has seen parkrun make the national news in the UK over the removal of age category, age grading and historical performance statistics from its website.
This is supposedly in the name of inclusivity. But how inclusive is it to bin 20 years of carefully curated stats in the belief that they put off new parkrunners?
