Parks-Bielchowsky three step test

Parks-Bielchowsky three step test is used to determine cyclovertical muscle palsy. Superior oblique palsy is most common following head injury. By performing this test, one of the vertical muscles causing acute hypertropia can be isolated.

Most common cause of hypertropia is superior oblique palsy, this can be treated by prisms and surgery. The results are very promising.
