Parks Board Game | Solo Playthrough | Learn to Play | Totally Tabled

Parks are so relaxing, except for those annoying park rangers constantly running in front of you stealing all the sun and water. Enjoy my scenic solo playthrough of PARKS by Keymaster Games.
RULES MISTAKE:
I accidentally played with another Shaggi Variant. If you want to play with the actual rules as written, make sure only the back ranger on the trail picks up tent tokens when they land on or pass them. Or feel free to use the Shaggi variant. It is a solo game so you can do whatever your heart desires!

When I saw lost ruin at no 1…the first thing I thought about was you probably has not played dune imperium! I have suggestion for your next top 10 list…what about a top 10 fan made solo mode….would be interesting to see your thoughts!

Definitely played Dune Imperium. I just love it multiplayer. That is a great idea for a top 10 except I haven't played many fan made solo modes. I want to do a video series where I play a few of the most popular ones. I'm still noodling with that idea. Thanks, Kenny!

Really nice playthrough! Parks is such a fun game - I find the gameplay simple yet engaging, and obviously the art is amazing! I don't have the Nightfall expansion - is it worth getting for solo play? From your video my impression was that it adds more rules but doesn't really impact the gameplay much.

Thanks for the really nice message. I agree with you -- Parks is great and very high on my list of games to introduce to new players. I don't have much experience yet with the Nightfall expansion (that playthrough was my first time using it in a solo game). It adds a few nice decisions that I didn't fully explore in the playthrough. I would say the expansion is not necessary unless you've burned out on the base game. Thanks for watching!

Isn't the left most tent placed wrong? I think they should be in every other track starting right before trail end and then going left.

Yep, you are absolutely right. I misunderstood the rule and clarified in the description. Sorry about that. Serves me right for filming my first play of the expansion. Although I never film first plays anymore and I still make loads of mistakes. :) Thanks for watching! Happy holidays!

I have question about the solo game, maybe you have a response ? if you finish the trail with your front hiker, does this hiker still count as your FRONT hiker for the future ranger movement ? It kinda trick me up, I don't know wich ranger I must move when I do that

I thought you couldnt reserve and visit a park in one turn if the rangers beat you to the trailend. If you reserved it shouldnt you have to wait to visit til you land on the site that allows that or reach the end and choose to visit a park
