This might be my favorite episode so far. I love the ending! Wish there was a pipe band playing on every trail!

Awesome video! Great ideas and beautiful examples. Lol the part about benefits of green spaces speaks to me. I have everything mentioned -- high blood glucose, ADHD, high stress, and anxiety. I really need to walk, and in a park. The parks around here cost money, or don't have a lot of trees, or you have to drive, or they're unsafe, or the good parks are on the wealthy side of town. We need better parks and green spaces everywhere, especially in one of the hottest places in world! Also tell me why cities in the Northwest have had splash parks and splash pads for years even though it's not that hot and hot, dry cities like ones in the California Central Valley just barely got these. I want to move but everywhere else is so expensive.

I know this video is about parks specifically, but since this channel is about urban planning in general I have to say that I find most of the architecture of US cities very boring and unimaginative. I’m a U.S. American immigrant and I’ve been living abroad for about 2 years now and I’m sorry to say that the cities I’ve lived in or visited in other countries are far more attractive to me. I know that this is my personal opinion, but the architecture and look of cities in Mexico and Ecuador just captivate me whereas US cities always left me bored and wanting something better. The only exception I found to that was New Orleans. I’ve been to a number of US cities too, but this is my experience.

I actually believe they add a bit of life to a town or neighbourhood, it would be interesting to hear from your perspective

I think it depends on the size of the park to dog ratio. There is a tiny city park in my neighborhood that is uncomfortably overrun by dogs. In the huge city park, someone walking their dog is sweet.

Most people don't pick up their dog poop, and that's unsanitary. Beyond that, it makes life uncomfortable for others.

@@PLoGro24 Maybe park spaces are ruined by the people who have dogs more than the dogs themselves lol
