@@flowers-3333it's a show that plays both sides, Ron is supposed to be that conservative boss, Leslie is supposed to be the liberal main character, and they do things to satire politics. i mean Pawnee having an obesity problem is overtly the cause of big corporations basically being the government, and the hate of libraries is supposed to be because Ron is supposed to be a character that is unchanging in his beliefs. (even though he does change)

Having worked in customer service, I cannot count the number of parents whose children run around causing mayhem and the parent gives a half-hearted "Stop it." Then follows it up with no discipline whatsoever, and the next time the child acts exactly the same with no consequences whatsoever, rinse and repeat. I've seen kids run around causing trouble, the parents trying to discipline them, and then buy them a toy right after. Then the kid continues misbehaving with the added bonus of the toy. As a famous comedian once responded to someone claiming that if you're not a parent yourself, you have no room to criticize: "Well I'm not a pilot either. But if I see some dude in a helicopter who crashed into a tree, I don't need to be an expert on helicopters to look at that and be like "... ... Dude f*cked up."
