Let me tell you, it doesn't. Especially the wet socks part. You just wake up cold and miserable, and if you're unluckily you puke out about $25 of steak that you seared the previous night. The flank steak, though expensive, it the part that helps the most. For some reason the protein and fat help your body process the poison. My recommendation is to eat a more affordable cut of red meat, drink a liter of water and take some probiotics.
