She's my second favorite character, outside of April Ludgate. Donna was such an unapologetic character, who was totally and unbashedly herself, and taught others to lean into their own assertiveness and allowed themselves to be a little selfish now and then. The show was always about acting in good service to others as a means to form bonds and community, and it really showed the extents we should all go to in helping to uplift one another. Donna did that, while never once compromising her desires and ambitions. Rhetta played the hell outta this role. I always love the episode with the Colts @09:29
