You tighten aluminum wheels with 120 Nm. If you tighten it correctly that little Impact wrench will manage to take out these bolts. But when i saw how you tightened the one you took out, with max power of approximately 320-340 Nm (because it will never deliver 400 Nm no matter what the box or paper says) i couldn´t believe my eyes. Your wheels can crack and you put your life in danger. Just saying...

Thank you for taking your time in reviewing and uploading this parkside impact wrench. I've being considering buying this make for quite awhile? This upload has made that decision for me. Just like most other brand's it's fake claims on it's max torque output!!! THANKS AGAIN U HAVE SAVED ME A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY..😉👍👍👍

IF you read through the comments you'll find that this ISN'T a proper test/review. In that from what I understand 'TechGuruAndrew' seems to have shown (in other videos) an OVER TIGHTENING of his wheel nuts.... PLUS... As I put it im my comment >>> Regarding the wheel nut test... FIRSTLY you NEED to establish what torque number those bolts have been set at (my car for example should be (according to Haines - 120Nm). So... IF you used a breaker bar & socket to free up those wheel bolts, and then torqued them back down to the manufacturers recommendation, THEN went up from 100 to 150, 200, 300 then 400 on the Parkside, you WOULD THEN know pretty much WHAT SETTING on the impact wrench WOULD undo the wheel bolts. Doing it 'Blind' does not really tell us anything. Yes, the Parkside 20v/4Ah cordless impact wrench MIGHT NOT come up to standards/perform 'As advertised' (compared to the likes of Bosch, Makita, etc etc, but, it WOULD be interesting to learn how this product differs from the 'Leaders'. So, IF this test was done right (presetting the wheel bolts to a KNOWN torque figure (and to the car manufacturers recommended settings (remembering over-tightening Alloy wheel nuts CAN BE dangerous with CRACKED HUBS!), then, possibly this Parkside tool COULD HAVE been ideal for your purposes. I have their 20v Drill, and it's taken A LOT of abuse (with a socket fitted used as reluctant lawn mower starter, also with a socket adapter and 17mm socket, as a wheel stud remover (after I cracked them loose with a wheel brace), and the usual general light/heavy duty drilling and it's is STILL performing well today a year + onwards! 😎🇬🇧

100 Newton per minute... That must be a new scale of measuring force, the force of time. 😂

Note: When I first saw this product about a year or so a go here in Lidl store - UK, it was priced at £69... Now, I look on eBay, and people are asking £100+ NEW!! Before seeing this video I was thinking "Damn! I SHOULDA bought this thing back then with the bloody price now!" But looking at your video, I'm getting skeptical about it... Might just stick with my hand tools! Hahaha 😎🇬🇧

It's the crap sockets. Throw them out and get decent ones and it will nake a huge difference

not in this case. I have an air impact driver I got for 40 and its at least 3 times stronger than this gun. it just doesn't have the power

i agree, i have this gun myself, used a proper impact socket for wheel nuts, the one with the plastic coating to protect the wheels, took the nut straight off without struggle. people don’t realise how much of a difference sockets actually make to torque on impact guns and ratchets too.

also, Chrome Vanadium sockets are NOT meant to be used on an impact gun as they can crack or explode. Chrome Molybdenum is rated for use on impact tools…

If only 120 nm is needed to put these in. Then why can't you remove them with a 400nm setting on the impact drill!?!?

120nm is just a manufacturer-recommended torque spec but that's no guarantee the last person to fit them torqued them correctly. It would be fine if every tyre place followed best practice of impact off, torque on, but I've seen enough lazy mechanics tighten wheel bolts using just an impact wrench and one that's no doubt more powerful than the Parkside shown here.

I think You have to stop and start stop and start to keep the grip on the bolt till it loosens on the wheels

That´s not how an impact wrench work. The longer you hold it the more torque it builds up. The max torque is a summary of all impacts delivered in a specific amount of time.

@@mr.smith-matrix it faild to work Unlocking the bolt on the car wheel, so i suggested a manual constant stop and start action, this would surely help with the Unlocking

Useless this video, Alu wheels you tighten @ 120Nm not more so the parkside loosen them easily ! These are tightened with a wrench and bar of 1m and you risk your life if ride you’re car

i tighten them to 150 nm on my car and this parkside impact doesn't even have a trouble untighten them i used it only for wheel dismount on 4 cars. if you use a bar to tighten no wonder it doesn't untighten them bolts/nuts.
