Parkside=Best thing you can buy for home use.Apsolute king. Makita=For professional and "heavy" every day usage. Parkside=It would probably die after one or two months of extreme,heavy usage. Makita=Will last long time (many years) under extreme load,every day usage. What to buy? It's simple. For home usage=Parkside. For job=Makita.

If that happens you have 5 year guarantee for the tool. Luckily I had 3 Parksides and all of them worked like a charm for years. Battery was a problem though. After 2-3 years batteries were out of production and you either have to replace the cells manually or throw the tool into garbage. Seems to me that battery compatibility problem is solved.

3:58 you have in makita tightening torque 16. 16 is not maximal .... Is is logical that not screw up spin on maximum.... Normal peoples use drill mode :X
@rudenko144 жыл бұрын
One of the key points of the slip clutch is to prevent the drill pretty much twisting /braking your wrist when it comes to a sudden stop and you hold the trigger. You should be able to drive most screws with the clutch at highest setting, it should only start slipping when the resistance gets to dangerous level. If the clutch can only handle 20% of the drills torque, it is useless, because it will force you to use drill function and the safety feature is gone. If you ever used a really powerfull tool, you would understand the point of the test, tha makita should be able to drive the screw at least as far as the parkside on clutch. I used a brushless dewalt rated at 70nm that could snap your wrist like a twig no matter how strong your grip was. It will teach you to use the clutch instead of drill mode, or you will hurt yourself time to time, your choice.
@GiovanniFedele4 жыл бұрын

@Boz12111113 жыл бұрын
its not an impact driver, once the clutch slips you should stop. its just a safety measure. If you have used your makita like that that clutch is probably slipping a lot easier than it would if it was new

Were you ever on a job site ? If the screw isnt going in on the highest clutch setting , you think the drill isnt going into drill mode to screw rhat sucker in ? I know for a fact it is . Nothing against makita hrey got more powerfull models than the one in the video ...

@@emilvlahovic3917 I dont understand your question? i said there is no point to continue riding the clutch once it slips. wood had different density depending where you screw and i usually use drill mode or clutch setting higher than necesary and manually stop once screw is in

Parkside's drill use brushless motor. Makita 's is traditional brush motor and you put wrong setting while screwing , try hard setting of Makita next time. Parkside's battery cell quality is much lower than Makita. But parkside is really super price , good for home use.
@hendrikpingel48474 жыл бұрын
habe my Parkside since 2017, use them often, so far no wear even in the oldest battety cells....
@HECKAKYH-ADEKBATEH4 жыл бұрын
Rajesh left very wrong comment. Brushless motor only reduces energy use to 2/3, does not improve speed or torque. He used right mode, in fact the impact mode should be more efficient, but tool simply gave up. Parkside battery quality is EQUAL to Makita, Parkside use Samsung cells. Both Makita and Parkside battery have load compensation electronics, that regulate battery output (3rd pin). Problem is - for 5Ah, Makita battery cost 50€, where Parkside wants 30€. Black "performance" line from Parkside is not for home use, but the real difference is in warranty - Parkside gives 5 year warranty but only for non-commercial use, Makita gives 3 year warranty but includes commercial use. Green normal Parkside line can really vary, it can be for professional use, but can also be for home use - because green can be built from Güde, Scheppach, Einhell contractors; it depends on how complex is machine, more complex green machine like jigsaws are not fit for professional use, but simple machine like table saw is no different from Makita. But the ergonomics of green machines is worse, which wastes commercial time (=money).
@HECKAKYH-ADEKBATEH4 жыл бұрын
Ok, I must add real problem of Parkside - it has absolutely no replacement parts. Even Einhell, Scheppach or Güde have replacement parts, but if something like switch breaks on Parkside after 5 year warranty - you can't buy replacement part. This is real big problem.
@pauldavison71053 жыл бұрын

@HECKAKYH-ADEKBATEH3 жыл бұрын
@@pauldavison7105 well, if they don't change the battery standard and your new purchase goes surprise-free. The branded are surprise free in long term. Plus output result quality may vary in device class, for example table saws (they all are more less accurate) vs jigsaws (mile difference depending on vibration management and joints play inside the tool itself)... I still like cheap ferrex angle grinder, but I will never touch their jigsaw...

@Boz12111113 жыл бұрын
that drilling mode is not super useful, someone who is buying a tool like this will have hammer drill for sure
@RichardStefanits3 жыл бұрын
Now there is a hammer version of this drill, however it is a kind of different, is is much bigger and heavier than the video. I quite like it though. However it does not really do good in drilling holes to brick wall or concrete, so I have a proper hammer drill for those cases. The added weight does not worth for the feature, however the hammer version is built stronger and has higher torque and overall looks like a more heavy duty tool.

Ak by som chcel BL Makit/ Milwaukee koľko stoji z baterkami 400 euro ???

*I'm a big fan of Parkside for it's incredible performance and value for money, but Makita are the last word in cordless tradesman tools and have been for decades, so I have my doubts about this video, even if the Parkside brand has really upped it's game in recent years, which it has - spectacularly.* *Just noticed the Makita is a 5 amp beast, the Parkside battery here is just 2 amps, I can tell by the size, as I have a Parkside 4 amp battery, considering the Parkside brand has a max of 4 amps there is no way the 5 amp Makita could not plough those screws in like the wood was as soft as styrofoam, my only conlusion is that the 'Makita' in the video must be a Chinese fake.*

The parkside has a 4ah battery on it, and the makita is a less powerful version, if you get the dhp481 or dhp486 it'll shred the parkside away

@@erwinmaes3105 you did not answer to my fact, fact that I used to reply to your fake assertion. You can stick to whatever you want, but remember, you are writing in the comment area of a comparative video, saying bullshit about something you don't know. It's a bad attitude, something that you will see on oldest peoples, those who can't change their minds. People here don't say bullshit about Makita's products. A Parkside product was better than a Makita one, that costs around three or four times its price. Everyone here has a parkside cordless drill, and is happy about that. Someone even has both, Parkside and Makita, and it's still happy of the money spent on the Parkside. It's just crammed with butthurts that put their money in the wrong Makita product. Maybe there are a lot of products from Parkside to which is better to stay away, it's not a professional brand but a brand from an hard discount, so having a nice product is a good thing... and, cordless drill from Parkside are excellent products. Much better than Black & Decker, much better than Dexter from Leroy Merlin's, even if they cost the same or more. Parkside did a lot of modifications in the years, and now 12v and 20v drills are SOLID products, expecially this "performance" one. It can go head to head with much pricey products, no one will complain of their quality. So, keep your Makita and go comment in your Makita club, your opinion is worthless here unless you have a Parkside too to compare.

You compare Audi to Sangyong. Makita 1.500rpm and Park...2.000rpm and you count the time to thread a screw? Makita has 16 screwdriving gears that work when Parkside doesn't have and breaks your hand and still doesn't stop. That Makita is Made in China and still beats Parkside. You couldn't even compare a Makita Made in Japan. Let's see in 3 years of daily use if it still works and if it keeps the battery like at Makita. For DIY and price, Parkside is very good. Much better than many tools made in China, but it doesn't compare to Makita

Beware, this video is comparing 2013 used Makita model to 2019 brand new Parkside drill and compares nothing but power, cause even this old drill would win in every other category than sheer power (reliability, ergonomy, battery system, precision, even price cause used model like this one can be found for less than 50 euro, so cheaper than new Parkside). It's so unfair its probably a paid advertisement.
