Quite a few in my wagon play list, with another one in production and plenty being lined up for future episodes! NW👍

I like the normal video speed and the close up view. Also the concise narration! Inspiring to see an expert modeller at work...

I love the idea of rust weathering and then the black wash afterwards. Thank you for sharing

Cracking job! Maybe the same wagon type but all made individual by numbering and weathering.

I only found your channel and subscribed recently. I bought a cambrian kit two years ago and after trying so hard gave up leaving it half built. This and other videos you have made, is inspiring me to stop buying expensive RTR wagons and build some kits. Id love to have a chat with you if at all possible n the phone, as I have a good number of questions relating to tools kits and understanding where bits go on a wagon. As the kit I bought had no detail plan and assumed I would know all this stuff. Many thanks PAul

Wonderful modelling, very inspirational! I too am looking to convert some standard Parkside plate wagons to vacuum brake. I'm just wondering though, as well as the PA16 Parkside chassis kit, what other sources did you use for the brake rigging? PA16 only seems to provide the brake shoes and the short brake levers, the rigging being applied at 6:14 (LNER type) does not appear to be part of that kit. Also, where do you get the self adjusting brake levers for the BR version?

IIRC the brake gear on the was just cut to fit off the base model and/or utilised from the vast array of spare parts off other kits! Luckily I don't clear that box out very often 😀 I've got a few etched brass frets of brake gear (Wizard Models), but that only gets used when I can't source a plastic part. Will be revisiting the plate family of wagons as there are a few derivative's I'd like to have a go at....

Top work 👍. What is that adhesive you use with a paint brush?

EMA Plastic Weld is the stuff. Some think it a little harsh, but I like it!! Thanks NW

Personally, I just modify the old Triang Clockwork play set wagons.....
