Does parkside paps (smart battery) have overdischarge protection?

Hi , 16 volts is still safe for this batter? on my battery 4 Ah i check voltage is 17.4 volts and LED green is still on ,is normal ? red LED is on when voltage is 16.50 what does it mean the cell are 3.3 volts Is it safe 3.3 volt per cell?

BE CAREFULL!! this "protection board" keeps drawing power after it shuts the load off (its easy visible because the display is still on after shutting off the load). So if left unattended this "protection board" will damage the battery by draining it to far.

No, the Lidl Parkside batteries do not have voltage protection, it's BMS only does balancing.

​​@@10asboteird. I read somewhere that it does over current protection. Also it has the the charge level LEDs. So weird it hasn't over voltage protection.

@@lal12 Only over current protection in the battery is a fuse that burns out, the BMS relays on the tool to shut down when it send a signal from one of the middle pins, the positive and negative terminals on the battery are directly connected to the cells.
