Parkway Drive are a bunch of surfer guys from New South Wales in Australia. From my best recollection, Jia the bassist, he broke it in a surfing accident. I’m quite surprised you pointed out both the bassist and the guy crowd surfing because most people just recognize the crowd surfer. But still nonetheless that guy in the wheelchair was having the time of his life and that just shows how awesome the music and its fans are.

He hurt himself like a week or two before the show but this is their biggest show ever. Not many people can say they got to headline wacken. They have a documentary called viva the underdogs which shows the journey up till this show. They don't have a manager one of the band members does it they cut out of a lot the traditional things you'd find in a band to save money to put into their shows. They've come a long way If you want to see ce crazy crowd interaction check out wild eyes its like if queen wrote a metalcore song
