Parmina and her gay son Anish

Meet Parmina, an out and proud parent of her gay son, Anish. As part of Out and Proud Parents Day we met up and asked them to share their 'coming out' journey.
On 30th July, we’ll be celebrating #OutAndProudParentsDay - a day where parents can share their pride for their LGBTQI+ child. All you have to do to take part is take a video, photo, or write a message like the above, and share it with the hashtag #OutAndProudParentsDay.
64% of LGBTQ+ individuals who are rejected by their parents experience anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. That’s not okay.
