Saima leads Rainbow Chai, the new parent support group for parents of South Asian heritage setup by Naz and Matt Foundation in the UK.
If you’re the proud parent of an 'out' LGBTQI+ child, come out and show your love and share your pride. LGBTQ+ Individuals from conservative families are two times more likely to feel suicidal as the result of a negative coming out experience with their parents. Together we can help more parents understand and accept their LGBTQI+ children.

Saima… Am so proud of you❤️ Also historically it’s always women who have stood up to every thing which is best for their children… Be it imparting western education to a conservative Muslim society 150 years ago when the mothers were the first to send their boys despite family opposition, they did the same when education of girls was considered a crime, and fathers were reluctant towards the new thinking, the women from nawab families began the trend to send their girls to boarding houses keeping aside family traditions setting a trend for commoners to do the same….women leave comfort zones to give a peaceful and sane space to their children… So many homes can be saved and so many people can be joyous if we just change a simple mindset.. Commendable 👍🏻 No wonder the paradise was also placed under her feet..👍🏻 Each child is different and should be celebrated for his/ her uniqueness… whatever it may be.. Love you lots.❤️
