Carnival Vista is our favorite ship!!! 😍 We love all the comfy loungers on deck 5 that no one seems to use very often. It's definitely our favorite embarkation day location for sure.

Great to see you back on Carnival again. Its more our speed for price and availability. Have noticed on last 2 sailings food has definitely improved.

We've noticed improvement in the food quality on our couple of more recent Carnival cruises, but something about Vista was off, as we found out after going to the MDR the second night... not terrible, but a good amount of overcooking going on!!

We had a lot of fun on our cruise on the Vista, exact same itinerary as yours..MarQ is the cruise director now, and he did a great job keeping things fun! Ocean Plaza was also my favorite 'hangout' spot on sea days, lots of trivia and other fun stuff there! Only downside to this itinerary was the short port stays.Half Moon Cay was alright. Been there a few times, just not really into the 'tendering' port thing I guess, but still was a fun beach day, and the water was actually quite mild for early December! Grand Turk was grand as usual! Great shopping expedition and a little sight seeing/people watching! But, we really could have used a few more hours in Amber Cove to go check out the amber mines(was told we could, can we?Never got an OFFICIAL answer on it tho) Spent most of the day shopping and exploring..Oh well, maybe next time we get there we will have to not be so lazy and get off the boat earlier!!LOL

OK, i wouldn't like that cabin, only because of the direction of the bed. I Need my bed to be parallel with the ship, not perpundicular.

True! We usually prefer to be rocked side-to-side rather than head-to-foot, but that seems harder to find that orientation in an interior cabin!!

I would love to know if you ever have issues with a sore throat sailing in inside cabins as you do? I was just in an inside cabin for the first time on Niew Statendam and I have the worst sore throat I've ever had and I could tell the air in the cabin was very dry.
