We LOVED Madeira when we went a few years ago. If you get a chance to go again, look into the toboggan ride in Monte! It was a blast! Definitely an adrenaline rush. LOL. Loved the video. Madeira is beautiful!

So funny. I didn't look at the title and I'm like "that looks like Madeira !" We did an irrigation hike that went through a tunnel when I was 14. Zero stars (but this one looks lovely) I'm hoping the drunk guy that passed us is okay

Hello to you both we’re from the UK and at the end of December we are going on a three week holiday four days in Australia and two weeks on the Royal Princess around New Zealand. That hike is fun, I did something similar years ago on another Portugese island. Those dome type things are not my favorite; climate is a real issue in those, I also find the noise/ sound levels can get bad. Looking forward to more of your adventures. How do you find it to be back on land, still sealegs or used to being on land?

Only the slice of banana cake was complimentary with the tour? I would have thought a rum sample would be included? Was it mentioned in the SEG write up?

No, in reading the tour description, it didn’t mention a sampling at the rum factory. My brain saw rum and immediately assumed samples, ha ha… oops!! :P ~Jay

Wait, so the rum factory wouldn't give yall samples but were charging for small bottles of rum oh hell nawww!!!!!!! I didn't pay to come all the way out their just to look at a bunch of barrels, they better turn those machines on and show me how it's made and I better smell rum coming from that factory, if none of that was going on, oh I would immediately request a refund or at least half, hell the Bacardi factory in san Juan give you free samples but they are much larger so. Glad you guys enjoyed the excursion.
